1998 Vantare double slide - updated and fully loaded
Prevost coaches are engineered to go a million miles. They have stainless steel frames, and heavy duty components. The interior fittings and finishes are all durable and of excellent quality. It takes just one drive for you to appreciate the solidness of these vehicles. These are not “plastic” mass produced coaches. Featherlite has an excellent reputation for well built motor homes, that are well documented so upgrading and repairs can be handled easily. A new H3-45 unfinished shell sells for far more than the price of this complete motor home.
This coach has it all. It has a very spacious and functional layout. It’s loaded with top of the line audio and video systems (there are four TV’s). We have tastefully upgraded the interior to a warm contemporary feel. It has a very unique plan that is ideal for a family, or would make a great grandparent coach. It easily sleeps up to seven people, with a very comfortable master stateroom with queen sized bed, a new bunkroom set up with three bunks (easily converted to two), plus there are two electric couches that convert to beds in the main salon.
Why buy our coach?
There are many “great buys” on the market right now. The question you have to ask is “what needs to be done?” There is regular maintenance required. As well, over time many parts such as air bags, valves, and diesel heaters need regular service and maintenance whether they have been used or not. In addition, a coach needs to be used regularly (exercised), in order for all of the systems to work at their best. With our coach, we have done everything. All of the mechanical systems have been checked, and updated where necessary, we have replaced every battery on the coach (house batteries alone are $6,000), and overhauled the aqua hot heating system, the levelling system, the air conditioners and the slide controls.
This coach is registered in Canada. All of the importation work, fees and GST have been paid. The list of coaches that can be imported into Canada is very small, and less than 10% of the coaches available for sale in the US can even be imported into Canada. For US buyers, this coach can easily be registered in the US again.
